Why We Care

Our tours have been bringing together people from every corner of the globe, each with their own stories, cultures, and identities. We believe that this is what makes every experience unique – the connections we make along the way!

This isn't just true for our guests; it's at the heart of our team, too. Working side by side with incredible people from different backgrounds means no two days are ever the same. We learn from each other's life experiences and perspectives, making our work more fun and creative.

How We Celebrate LGBTQIA+

We're excited to introduce you to our dedicated Pride Circle – a passionate group at Highland Explorer Tours driving diversity, inclusion, and meaningful dialogue within our organisation and the LGBTQIA+ community in Scotland.

Radical Pride Circle

Empowering Voices All Year

Every month since 2023, our Pride Circle members have been gathering to explore topics ranging from integrating inclusive policies to building LGBTQIA+-friendly networks, championing under-represented communities, and supporting our staff.

Using Pronouns in Emails

Our staff are encouraged to include their pronouns in their email signatures, and we're delighted to see many of our team embracing this. You can read about the benefits of this practice here.

LGBT Youth Scotland Fundraiser

LGBT Youth Scotland

At our Christmas Raffle 2023, we raised £1825 to support the Edinburgh-based charity LGBT Youth Scotland. The money was raised to support young people in Scotland, creating a safe space to express themselves, as well as providing vital advice and guidance.
